Volunteer Examination Coordinator
(VEC)


         
Incorporated in 1986, WCARS-VE is the oldest VEC still in existence, and was the first to administer examinations as a volunteer organization. Numerous Hamfests are held each year   As a 501 (c)(3) organization, WCARS-VE strives to provide the highest quality student classroom instruction, and meaningful volunteer examiner experience, while maintaining the highest integrity for each classroom or examination session.
         
 

The first exam was conducted at the Atlanta Hamfest.
